Solar Steel, a leading company in the supply of solar trackers and fixed structures for the PV solar sector, has reached an agreement with Solarig, a company specialized in developing infrastructures for the energy transition, for the supply of 21 MW of its innovative TracSmarT+ 1V solar trackers for a photovoltaic installation located in the Spanish province of Huelva.
The plant currently being constructed by Solarig, under the project name “Colón,” will feature 156 single-row solar trackers and 288 dual-row solar trackers. These systems will support approximately 32,000 PV modules, producing 44,000 MWh of clean energy annually, enough to supply clean energy to over 12,000 households each year. It is estimated that this initiative will help avoid approximately 8,500 tons of CO2 emissions.
This agreement strengthens the joint commitment of both companies to the development of a more sustainable and prosperous future, actively collaborating in the expansion and dominance of clean energy in Spain.
