The 4th year ESO students from the Santo Tomás school in Avilés visited Solar Steel’s facilities in Asturias to learn first-hand about all its capabilities.
It was a unique opportunity to highlight the importance of career guidance and to contribute to continue promoting environmental awareness during the students’ formative stage. In this sense, the Solar Steel team explained to them, as representatives of the sector, that solar energy does not emit greenhouse gases, showing it to be one of the most efficient renewable energies in the fight against climate change.
Many thanks to the teachers and students of Colegio Santo Tomás for their presence. It was a pleasure for the team to share with all of them our work philosophy and our enthusiasm for renewable energies.
At Solar Steel we value the training and professional development of the next generations, showing them day by day the potential of solar energy as a solid and incipient industry where they can develop their professional career. One industry, the solar one, which in Spain has more than 770 companies where 74,250 people were employed, directly and indirectly, in 2022.
