Solar Steel secures agreement to supply 220 MW of solar trackers for new hybrid solar park in Chile

Solar Steel, a leading company in the design and supply of solar trackers, has signed an agreement to supply 220 MW of 1P solar trackers. This agreement involves the deployment of over 3,180 of its solar trackers in the Tamarugal province of Chile.

With a solid track record in the sector, Solar Steel will continue its commitment to sustainability and innovation by providing its latest 1P configuration, a cutting-edge technology designed to maximize efficiency and clean energy production at the new solar park.

Solar Steel’s 1P solar trackers, which will support more than 355,000 high-power modules, will optimize the utilization of sunlight in one of the countries with the highest solar radiation index in the world, ensuring greater clean energy generation.

This hybrid solar park (PV+BESS) is expected to enter the construction phase in the coming months of 2025, aligning with the country’s clean energy generation goals and reinforcing Chile’s position as a leader in the adoption of renewable technologies.
