Solar Steel, a leading company in the supply of solar trackers and fixed structures for the PV solar sector, is pleased to announce a supply agreement for 118 megawatts (MW) of solar trackers for a photovoltaic project in Chile.
A total of 1,939 TracSmarT+ 1V single-row and dual-row trackers from Solar Steel will support generating clean energy sufficient to meet the energy demand of over 75,000 families in the region.
The supply, which will avoid approximately 50,000 tons of CO2 emissions into the atmosphere annually, will take place in the Chilean region of Antofagasta, substantially contributing to the decarbonization of the region and promoting the adoption of clean and sustainable energy sources.
With this latest agreement, Solar Steel reaffirms its position as a leading company in the solar PV sector, cooperating in the transformation of the energy landscape in LATAM, where it has already supplied over 4.2 GW of its solar trackers and fixed structures.
