The new cardan-equipped version of Solar Steel’s 1V solar tracker is now available on the PV market

Solar Steel, a leader in the supply of solar trackers and fixed structures for the PV solar sector, is pleased to introduce the latest configuration of its 1V single- and dual-row solar tracker, TracSmart+ 1V, which, among many other advantages, comes equipped with a cardan transmission system.

The new version of TracSmart+ 1V has been designed to effectively address the challenges faced by photovoltaic projects today:

1.Greater optimization of CAPEX, OPEX, and LCOE: The incorporation of the cardan system enables higher energy production efficiency, reducing both investment costs (CAPEX) and operating costs (OPEX), resulting in a lower Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE).

2.Reduction of assembly times and increased tolerances: Ensuring greater flexibility in assembly, thus reducing the installation’s CAPEX.

3.Enhanced adaptability to slopes: The TracSmart+ 1V with a cardan is highly versatile and optimally adapts to a variety of slopes, reducing the earthwork required.

4.Better adaptability to complex layouts: This version allows for an increased number of dual-row configurations within a plant with an irregular layout.

5.More standardized design and fewer references: Reducing the number of references simplifies installation management and logistics, improving their respective CAPEX.

This new configuration demonstrates Solar Steel’s commitment to being at the forefront of the photovoltaic solar sector’s demand, offering improvements that ease the energy transition and enhance production facilities, resulting in increased local manufacturing.
