Gonvarri Solar Steel, a leading manufacturer of trackers and fixed structures, with more than 16 GW of track record, has signed a new agreement with Erco Energy to supply 28 MW of TracSmarT+ 1V trackers for two projects in Colombia, where Solar Steel also has its own factory.
The supply of these projects, both of 14.2 MW, with a total of 574 TracSmarT+ 1V trackers (single[1]and dual-row), will avoid the emission of 9,000 tonnes of CO2 into the atmosphere.
With this agreement, which will generate energy equivalent to that consumed annually by more than 13,000 homes, Gonvarri Solar Steel demonstrates its firm commitment to a sustainable and emission-free world in 2023, when it aims to reach 17 GW supplied.
