Carbon Neutral 2050:
A step towards a sustainable future

As part of Gonvarri Industries, we closely align with its vision of carbon neutrality through the Carbon Neutral project. This ambitious plan aims to make us a completely carbon-neutral company by 2050, adopting concrete actions to reduce our emissions and promote sustainable practices.

Our Goals for 2030 and 2050:

Reduce our direct emissions by 50%.
Ensure that 100% of our electricity consumption comes from renewable sources.

Affordable and lean Energy

Goal: Ensuring access to clean and affordable energy is crucial for promoting a healthy life.

Our contribution: We firmly support the health of our employees through our Gonvarri Life Healthy company project, where we develop actions grouped thematically by quarters.

Climate action

Goal: To reduce greenhouse gas emissions to combat climate change.

Our contribution: With over 1GW of 1P solar trackers supplied in Spain in 2023, we’ve contributed to avoiding more than 380,000 tCO2 emissions in various photovoltaic solar projects, providing clean energy equivalent to the consumption for over half a million households.

Decent work and economic growth

Goal: Creating quality jobs is essential for economic growth.

Our contribution: Our workforce increased by 67.92% in 2023. We have the Women of Steel Plan to promote gender equality and provided 14 scholarships in 2023 for young graduates.
